The sheer (and opaque) ignorance of some people never fails to amaze me. Impatient people - first: it is just as illegal to ride a bicycle on the sidewalk as it is to ride a motorcycle or drive a car in the sidewalk. Bikes are vehicles. They must be on the road. Second: shut up about how much you pay in gas taxes. Most cyclists have cars and drive them, pay for gas, taxes, tags, etc. And FYI: that Bianchi or Cannondale bike probably costs more than your beater Ford. Third: slow down and pay attention. That bike has a PERSON on it. Its not a *thing* that is in your way. Remember, that rider as a family, a job, maybe kids and a dog. So show a little humanity.
