The ship is sinking... Last June I stepped on the gang plank, with dreams of being a part of something bigger than ever before. As I began to work, my effort was getting noticed, and I was asked to take on more responsibility. I eventually worked my way up to First Mate. As we sailed forth, amazing things started to happen. It was smooth sailing... Somewhere along our voyage we hit some debris, and we started to take on water. Most of the crew abandoned ship out of desperation and left only a few of us to fight the leak and keep a float. We are still taking on water, and Im not sure if this ship will be sailing for much longer. Im of course speaking of Frontlines Press. We are in a sink or repair situation, and it may just come down to hopping on a life boat, and letting it descend into a bottomless pit, never to be seen or heard from again. Im sure many of you are familiar with our work, and what we have brought to social media. We volunteer our time, strictly for your reading and viewing pleasure, and we appreciate our readers consistent support. This doesnt mean the voyage has to end. I know there are writers, artists, musicians, and photographers out there that are struggling to make a name for their talents. The majority of us artists work for free most of the time. How else do we get any recognition? Frontlines is an opportunity for those of you out there with talent, to showcase your abilities to an already steady following... but we need crew members that can commit at least even one submission monthly. We are looking for a broad range of work, from concert/show reviews, to creative writing, to photo essays. Heck, were even game for suggestions on new material.
