The shock. The horror. The trauma. A friend says yesterday she was stopped and roughed up by state house police, they alleged she had crossed an amber robot there. They further accused her of being a mujuru ally. They then commandeered her vehicle to somewhere where they put her in cells and demanded $500 to let her go. She ended up paying them $20 to let her go, money that was for her childs medication and all she had on her. In all this, she wasnt allowed to call anyone. Eish, is this how bad things are? Those who have eaten law books, how do we react in such a situation? All I could say was sorry, next time lock doors, dont allow anyone in, dont go anywhere without making a phone call to a lawyer. Whats a normal citizen to do?
