The shop has a number of antique and/or vintage floor lamps and torchieres in storage. The one featured here has been completely restored, including all wiring and socket work. Its an art-deco era (1920s) torchiere with eastern influence. Beautiful main stem with incredible white marble or marbelized alabaster trim at the base. Stands about 6 high. The glass torchiere shade is stunning, almost pearlescent with hints of soft coloring when turned on and a soft white when off. Torchieres are great for ambient lighting when relaxing, listening to music or visiting with friends. Good for movie watching as the torchiere lighting is not invasive. Some of these old lamps will come to the shop after New Years Day. The price will be right.
