The single most amazing thing about NObamas speech is that is sounded so good. Great ideas but TOTALLY opposite ways to accomplish them. It seems very clear that more BIG govt is the answer to just about everything. No job...more long term unemployment. Paid By The Govt. More education...PBTG. Better job training...PBTG. Cant afford healthcare...PBTG. And lets not forget...that means YOU pay. Then theres the nonsense about the minimum wage and immigration reform. Two useless and ineffective schemes. And the reduced deficit. OK. No mention of the ever increasing national debt. No surprise there. But...some things he said were good. Ending the wars in the Middle East. But thats a no brainer. Supporting wounded military. Like wed be against that. Improving the infrastructure. Well, we gotta drive. But others like ANOTHER Govt program to sell bonds for savings and retirement??? I THOUGHT that what the Social Security System was for. Oh yeah, he depleted a bunch of that reserve money on the bailout! And WTF was that bit about without legislation?!? Circumventing Congress is what tyrants and dictators do - not presidents. I wanted to believe him...really, like I did when he first ran for office. But I cant. His past record, lies and failed policies prevent me. Some great ideas, Mr. President...but you have no clue how to make them work for US!
