The situation at the weekend where close to a million job seekers - TopicsExpress

The situation at the weekend where close to a million job seekers showed up for a vacancy of just about four thousand further underline the mess we are in as a nation. And thats just a tip of an iceberg. The unemployment situation in Nigeria is embarrassing with millions of young graduates still without means of sustaining themselves, and yet somebody is telling us he has done more than enough to continue in office. As we approach another election year, its time for us to ask ourselves if this is the kind of country we dream for and for our children. With rising cost of living and failing infrastructure it is time for Nigerians to choose leaders not based on religious, ethnic or primordial sentiments but on competence. How long would our leaders continue to sink us into further deprivation. As a rational being we need no soothsayer to tell us that a government that failed to provide for her people in six years can perform any miracle if given another four. Our destiny no doubt is in our hands,we can either decide to continue with this planless system and sacriface our future and that of our children or make the needed change now, devoid of ethnic and religious sentiments. ITS IN OUR HANDS. GOD BLESS NIGERIA.
