The sky is falling, the sky is falling...Oh I mean RATES....Today you can get a 30yr fixed anywhere from 4.125 to 4.375 depending on points. The 10yr bond is now at 2.58%. Is this a trend or just a small correction on an uptrending rate envirnoment? We will see. But for those of you who want to catch the wave of falling rates (may be short term) I advice to talk to your favorite loan officer now and if you do not have one I can help. It takes a few days to get the package ready for delivery to a lender and then it could take them a week to approve you depending on their work load.
