The slight man had to be the tallest person any of them had ever seen. Certainly the oddest looking foreigner that had ever visited the Flatlands. He wore a dark, ornate cloak that just barely touched the ground. When he walked along it almost made him appear to glide along by means of magic, only the occasional appearance of his purple slippers betrayed his mystical feat. The same color purple that adorned the embroidery around the front if his hood and down both sides of the front, which was fastened together by 4 silver ornate clasps. None of the patterns on his cloak seemed to belong to any cults or covenants known to them. They knew he must be a man of high bearing. What bothered Liam mostly about the stranger was that he carried no provisions, no sleeping covers, no horse. He just had this slender blade in a scabbard. The hilt had no hand guard and the pommel appeared to be a large ruby. It was much longer than any dagger hed ever seen, but shorter than a traditional sword. He decided it must be for ceremonial purposes. A symbol of his status from where he hailed from. It certainly was not a weapon for battle. Forgive me young ones, I am sure you find my appearance to be....well, foreign. Liam swallowed nervously, and for a moment couldnt formulate a reply. The tall stranger lifted his hands to pull back his hood. The man had an equally thin face to match his frame. Gray eyes that were sunken back into his skull, a prominent brow highlighted by thick bushy black eyebrows. His head was completely devoid of any hair. Liam immediately regretted his unkind, albeit, private thoughts about the man. He couldnt help but wonder if this man knew what his thoughts were, could he?. Allow me to properly herald my arrival, I am known by the name Serabym, and I am here to offer your people fellowship and prosperity. But that is a matter for your Elders and I to discuss.
