The smiling puppy in back was rescued. The dog in front (who has a HORRIBLE shelter intake photo) is available on Tuesday. I love this photo because it demonstrates so poignantly the nature of animals. The little puppy was hiding under the bed every day and night until the little girl in front entered the kennel. She helped her small friend to learn to trust and overcome her fear. She taught her to play, too. We can learn so much from animals. Lets reward our hero in front by making sure she is saved, too, since she really was the one who saved the puppy in her kennel! This is her networking thread: https://facebook/photo.php?fbid=10201891982718790&set=a.10201187177339096.1073741865.1160364024&type=3&theater
