The stalemate over the salaries and allowances of members of county assemblies has been resolved, but there is no clear indication on whether the members will stop the go-slow they have been engaged in. The Salaries and Remuneration Commission and top representatives of the county assemblies last night broke the deadlock that has seen work grind to a halt in a majority of counties nationwide.
