The state has become so impotent that the middle class has begun to privatize their public problems. So, a middle class person will buy a mega ‘Poly Tank’ if he can’t get water through the taps, get a generator for consistent supply of electricity, buy a four wheel drive to deal with bad roads, send his children to ‘international’ (private) schools and the list goes on.
