The stolen passports used by 2 passengers is ongoing lead, CCTV images exist & now one male has been locally identified, at least by face. This isnt the Bermuda Triangle or Capricorn One: Vietnam is a communist state, as too China; the entire crew is Malaysian & unlikely to wish to defect to China. This isnt the Cold War or even Vietnam War, theres no reason to shoot down a civilian plane on an authorised route over Vietnam, just on political ideology. Several millions of Chinese would gladly defect to the West if they could. Yet not a scrap of wreckage found, after 4 full days. Gulf of Thailand, from Wikipedia, has max depth of 80m, mostly its ~40m, comparable with North Sea, & continental crust. South China Sea has max depth of 7352m, average of 1419m (NOAA, National Physical Data Center). Flight MH370 would have (it its unaltered path anyway) flown over the shallowest portion. Have installed a Japanese translator to check on a Japan research paper.
