The story about LPN Centre Director. As a leader, we do not need - TopicsExpress

The story about LPN Centre Director. As a leader, we do not need to validate our decisions. As my fans, of whom love me, request that the truth be told - here it is. Dila was hired as our Centre Director since November 2013. Her only and last employment letter is remunerated in profit sharing of 30/70 with no basic. We outlined her work to recruit our consultants, sell our courses for them and she agreed. In the role, she went on to earn profit every single month. When recruitment of consultants is over, she did not manage to fulfill her new duty to sell the courses. As the business tried to give her another chance, we even hire a Business Development Manager to assist. We commemorate her for organizing our Business Breakfast 1 and Business Breakfast 2. I gave a lot of appreciation and thank yous as far as I can remember, and she was generously given a bonus of SGD 2000 just for the planning on top of her salary and allowances. Her car allowances was also increased from SGD 500 to SGD 900 monthly as a sign of appreciation. After the investment of a manager is done to assist her, and 2 other staff hired under LPN, the business started to struggle. I am away with building other branding, and would assumed the Director can perform with minimal guidance to lead the company to profitability. That is what every Director is hired for - to manage the entire business and sustain its subordinates. Failing which, is a loss of investment on the company that we can no longer bear. It is with regret that we had to lose her when she resigned, but we had to follow up with a legal letter to dismiss her immediately because she has started defaming the business on social media and leaking confidentiality information within her notice period. She tried to make claims with MOM for her last salary during the period of June. Bear in mind that because she signed an EL based on profit sharing and LPN was not earning profit in June, logically making payouts is not possible. As a company, we work based on paper. She claimed a $3500 compensation with MOM for what she think she is worth, and when that was not going very well since her EL said otherwise, we offered her $1500 salary pro-rated in appreciation that she did attend work in June and she accepted it anyway. This is the explanation from the Corporate Point of View. This is why agreements, T&C, employment letters are important for companies. Without this, you are only running a hobby not a company. In my personal point of view, as a human with emotions, I have gone past the point of regret and disappointment. As far as I am concerned, I have taken her duty of what was left hanging that contributes to my 18-hr work day every day. I wish her nothing but the best since she left, while I still struggle from time to time, of her endless pursuit to claim what she perceived is the truth. I bear no grudges as a human, because I have learnt that I cannot please everyone. She went on to message my mentees, capture partial convo screenshots with her share of explanation, influence through negative postings and laugh at the threads she started to gather her entourage to break my name - I wonder if the exact same actions are done against her, I would like to see if she would be broken. LPN is yet to thrive since her departure because of the endless clean up every day. But we will eventually in time because if your presence never added value to my Business, then your absence wont make a difference. Yours sincerely, Leza Parker PS: My companies mean everything to me, because they were build from nothing for last 5 years, It is my duty to protect the interest of my companies, sponsors and investors because I took the obligation of being heavily invested in. I also taken into consideration that small minds may never understand big decisions. Lezas Portfolio: lezaparkernetwork/about_the_founder
