The story is told of 2 wolves and a sheep voting to see what they would eat for dinner. So how do you suppose that went? That power, in a direct democracy, where the majority rules in all things is the very reason why our founding fathers decided to set up a constitutional republic instead of a democracy. You see, a republic by definition states that there are certain inalienable rights that are to be enjoyed by all and can not be taken away from anyone regardless of whether or not all but the one decide otherwise. And there is a reason why one party is called the Democratic party and the other the Republican party. For one stands for majority rule, the other declares that there are certain rights that all are given which cannot be taken away. Predominantly, LIFE, LIBERTY, OWNERSHIP OF PROPERTY. Now, I said that to say this, Our constitution states clearly that God gave all men rights that cannot be taken away by any vote, by any law, by any ruling of any court. PERIOD. And while, I not kiss either end of the elephant of the Republican Party, Ill not ever ride the Ass of the Democratic party either. I will however vote for the person who stands up and declares that my God given rights are sovereign and as such cannot be taken away by anyone or any group. EVER. Further more, I know that I do not stand alone on this belief! As such, I give notice to all politicians on every level of government in the United States of America: GET IT RIGHT! NOW! Or we will ride you out of town on rails, complete with a new suit of tar and feathers!
