The story of Ajamila continues Lord Kṛṣṇas Transcendental Pastimes As mentioned above, hearing Kṛṣṇas pastimes is very purifying, but such hearing has to be done with the right attitude. Some persons with material vision are very much attracted to Kṛṣṇas rāsa-līlā—His pastimes with His cowherd girlfriends—but they do not appreciate His fighting and killing the demons. They do not know that the Absolute Truth, Kṛṣṇa, is good in any and all circumstances. Whether He is enjoying in the company of His devotees or killing the demons, He remains the Absolute Truth, and therefore all His pastimes are equally purifying to hear.
