The students of PES University, Bangalore are organizing “Samarpana 14”, dedicated to the martyrs of the armed forces, with the purpose of remembering their sacrifice and promoting the welfare of their families, who have laid down their life in the service of the nation. The idea behind the event is to help bring to light the lives of these men, to remember them and to remind the youth of the sacrifice made by them for their country. In addition to this, Team Samarpana is organizing a 10k,5k Charity Run on 23rd March 2014, for public awareness about the sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces. We, at Samarpana, believe that the people of our country especially the youth, need to appreciate what a soldier does for safeguarding our lives, and it is high time that we give them their due credit.
