The sudden demise of Homa Bay Senator Otieno Kajwang last night - TopicsExpress

The sudden demise of Homa Bay Senator Otieno Kajwang last night has been riddled with mystery with some ODM MPs from Luo Nyanza now alleging foul play in his death. According to a section of MPs, Kajwang’s death was not natural but induced, considering that his death was sudden and his corpse still oozes blood – something that is unusual and contrary to what is known of deaths caused by heart attacks. However, sources said that Kajwang may have been silenced by his very own people in ODM, particularly those branded as moles, who even threatened him as late as yesterday with dire consequences just before his sudden demise. According to the sources, after Kajwang escaped death by a whisker last Friday when he was involved in a grisly road accident as he was attending former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s function in Oyugis, he was received with cheerers at the function. And when he stood to speak, Kajwang put ODM rebels on notice vowing to expel them from the party. However, the same Friday night when he was asleep, Kajwang received a threatening call from one of the most powerful and influential ODM Governor who went ahead to warn him about his uncompromising stand on party rebels. And yesterday, a group of ODM legislators, led by Ndhiwa MP, Agostino Neto, who are branded moles, accosted Kajwang at Parliament’s restaurant warning him of dire consequences if he does not change his hard line stance on advocating for the sacking and expulsion of ODM rebels and moles. This followed the sacking of Kisumu Central MP, Ken Obura, from all Parliamentary Committees due to his close association with Uhuru/ Ruto. Later in the night after those threats, Kajwang was taken ill, complaining of chest pains and was pronounced dead two hours later at The Matter Hospital. Was it mere coincidence or was he murdered? We leave that to the CID.
