The surgeon just came and talked to us and said Bailey definitely has to have surgery to remove the tumor and the blood thats still on his brain. The blood is still putting pressure on his brain and still has it shifted. He said according to the MRI, it looks like they were able to close off all the blood flow to the veins and vessels flowing into the tumor when they did Baileys surgery when we first came but will not be 100% certain until they do Baileys angiogram next Tuesday. He said there could be some veins or vessels that are feeding into the tumor from behind it and if so, that wouldnt show up on the MRI so again, thats why they are going to do the angiogram on Tuesday. He said they dont want any surprises when they go in to do the surgery. I asked him about how long did he anticipate the surgery to take and he said ALL DAY. He said they will make a few holes in Baileys head and drain the blood off that is sitting there and then cut a horse shoe shape cut in his head, cut part of the skull off, peel his head open layer by layer and pin it open and continue until they reach the tumor (that is setting at the core of his brain). They will clip the vessels, remove the tumor and then put his skull back together with plates and sow it up. Father God I want to thank You again for all youve done and are going to do for Bailey! Father I know that it is only through and by Your grace that Bailey is still living today and I thank You with all of my heart!! Lord Jesus I ask you to please be the one leading the surgery team. I pray Father God that You guide their mind, thoughts, hands, fingers and eyes as Baileys surgery takes place. Father I know You are the Great Physician and Ultimate Healer and I know that You are going to watch over Bailey and take care of him and bring him through this with no problems. I am believing and trusting in Faith Father that You have great things in store for Bailey. He has a miraculous story to tell and I am trusting and believing that you are going to allow Bailey to tell his own story and use it to recover the city!!! Father we already know that his story has reached and touched many lives and Father I pray that if there would be one lost that is reading this right now, I pray Father that they ask You to forgive them of their sins and come to know You as their personal Savior! Father I Love You with every fiber of my being!!! Thank You Father God for all that youve done for us, Thank You!!!! Father, Thank You for blessing me with so many loving people in my life - my beautiful family, church family, friends and all my new friends! Father I have met so many new people during this chapter in our lives and I am so thankful for each and everyone of them. I would like to ask you to bless them all real good for all their love, prayers and support! Father thank You for all that Youve done and are going to do!
