The team are waking up today in Burkina Faso, HOORAY! They moving slowly but will be gearing up for the registration process this afternoon at the local high school for the youth ESOL camp. We just got off the phone and found out that the airport has asked us to delay our classes until Tuesday, so they can regroup after the strike. That gives us less time with the airport officials, but we know God has opened this door so we will just roll with whatever he has in mind, in full trust. What is most important is us showing love, interest, and building relationships. We will do that in whatever time we end up having there. God has organized this open door, no doubt about it, so we will just roll with his plan as it unfolds. Living and ministering here is truly a huge faith growing experience! This means the airport part of the work team will be able to get the youth camp started and assist there today, and then move over here tomorrow afternoon, God willing...... We are going out in a few minutes to meet them all and have lunch. Keep praying for this roller coaster trip and ministry. Truly exciting to watch how it unfolds. Pray for Rhyan and Nicole who did that late airport run and must be exhausted as well, for Joanna Gregg who is the leader of the Youth Camp, for Susan Canida who will lead worship, and for the rest of our Engage/Envision staff who all have parts in making this camp as successful as we can. Pray for the team who is tired to have energy, love, joy, and to go back home knowing that God called and used them greatly! Your prayers make a difference, we depend on them. WAWA and Flexibility at their very best right now......Life is not often dull here for sure....What a missions trip this group from two different churches is being able to experience! Not the average trip for sure.
