The team at Heimana Music would like to extend our sincerest THANK YOU to all those entertainers - singers, dancers, drummers, musicians, cultural groups - who made the Cook Islands Village the place to be this weekend at Pasifika Festival 2014. Each year you all put your hands up and bring your vibrancy and energy to the stage and we are grateful beyond words. To our sound crew, stage crew and volunteer backstage team - noone really understands how important your role is. You are all the reason the show CAN go on - without you the show would be a bust. And while you were all virtually unseen to the audience - just know that WE at Heimana were all watching with pride and gratitude at your efforts. To the volunteers who put their hands up to support the Cook Islands Village. WOW! Thanks so much for an awesome weekend of dedication. (Thank you to the Tangi Reka Arts & Cultural Trust for coordinating the volunteers team too) To all our family and friends who were in the audience this weekend - Meitaki maata... Your continued support of Heimana Music and our efforts to preserve, produce, and promote Cook Islands Music and entertainment is exactly what we need. And finally to our Village Coordinator Bernard Tairea - each year you work tirelessly in the months leading up to the festival. We know it isnt an easy job - but you do it oh so well.
