The terrorists have won. Im not even joking. If the price we are supposed to pay for safety means that every two bit thug that can hack on the web can blackmail / extort major corporations to change their policies because someone might get offended, then we have lost freedom of expression. Sure today it is the North Koreans, but watch them all get in line. Dont think for one moment that your Federal Government wont want to jump in and create some sad new federal department to deal with this, and use that excuse to regulate the internet too. I dont really care for this movie, or the one that Seth Rogan was coming out with either. But the idea that we no longer can have expression like satire or criticize someone without fear of repercussions or violence is simply sad. This should be something that both left and right wing politics should come together on. Sadly I see them using it to divide us further, for their own agendas and benefit.
