The testing of your faith produces endurance. James 1:3 Lord, there are times when I find praying difficult and your answers elusive. I struggle to find and connect with you. Instead, I hear only my own words echoing back, and so my confusion increases. Help me, O God, to change my prayers. Instead of asking Why? Help me to ask What? What do I need to do now? What can I learn from this? Then empower me with your Spirit to respond to your answers as you want me to.
