The thing about people that have done things in Hip Hop/ entertainment for a long time compared to being the first. The person that has done things for a long time should always get their props for what theyve done and even more so for getting your work seen in places that others havent. Theres a lot of pride to take in that as well as respect deserved. But by no means does that make you the first. And that should never mean that you should be jealous if someone shocks you with work and documentation that shows that he or she was already doing what you believe that you did first. It doesnt take away from the great work and time that you have already put in to the game. It simply means that there was someone before you and it makes us fortunate to have more information and history. With that said. Shout to everyone that has laid bricks on the foundation oh photography in Hip Hop, but we have to give it up to Joe Conzo for being the first. And the great things is that he was someone that was born in the scene and #BornInTheBronx.
