The thing that I enjoy most about the holidays is spending time with my extended family at my mother and fathers house. It goes without saying, that my parents are amazing people. They go to the extremes in abundance and expense, to celebrate the holidays and to keep our family close and together. It is very true that they are loud, fantastic relayers of past events, over-do most meals especially deserts, but then again ya never know who might be coming through the door and God dammit how would it look if there wasnt enough food for them. But most importantly, they willingly and without complaint continue to bring our loud, rambunctious, circus of a family together holiday after holiday, and sometimes, for no reason at all. I greatly envy this quality in my parents and hope to someday be able to do half of what they do for all of us. Thanks Mom and Dad, you truly do make the holiday season something for all of us to look forward to.
