The thing that really irritates me, is that Apple (along with Microsoft and other tech giants) could actually stop this black market through a universal release date/price. For example, Microsoft didn’t release the Xbox One in Japan until September, and then they wonder why sales were so poor. It’s all fine for these tech and media companies to try and dictate when a country gets access to the latest gadget or tv show, but they can’t cry foul when black markets like this emerge. People are smart, and if the opportunity to get something earlier arrives, they’ll most likely take it.
