The thought came to mind this morning as walking to the post office: Love is transparent with nothing to hide! What do you have in your wallet/(or could be purse) I thought about that for a moment. Honestly, although not perfect, could think of nothing I am hiding in my wallet...what a good feeling...to be perfectly-IMPERFECT. Indeed, Love (does) cover a multitude of sin (1 Peter 4:8)...but what does are the conditions of fulfillment and what does that biblically mean? To cover, in this case means to fill the hole (like a pot hole in a road) left by erosion of any sort. Cover does not mean to hide for the Word says: he that covers (or hides) his sin shall not prosper (Proverbs 28:13) What does cover mean and how is sin covered? I John 1:8-9 gives us the answer: If we say we have no sin (that is to cover) we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we CONFESS our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins AND TO CLEANSE US ( wash it away, fill the hole left by erosion) from all unrighteousness. May we humble ourselves to receive grace to heal every area of our lives the holes left by erosion cleansed and filled
