The time is 0700hrs and I have just got in! 0500hrs and my phone rings: “Is this Simon the Plumber?”, Yes... “I have a leak can you come out and fix it?”, What now, I ask? “Yes”, I say it is very early and it will be better if he just turns his water off and I will get to him during office hours, to this he says no and wants me to go immediately so I say it is going to be very expensive indeed and he says “How much?”, now I dont want the job so I say “X”, he says “F Off” and puts the phone down, I snuggle back into sleep but my phone rings again and it is the same chap who now says “Can I come out” I then tell him that the price has now gone from “X” to “Y” because he has told me to “F Off”. I go to his house and it takes me all but 10 minutes to fix the leak and I am paid in full. I am not a charity and if you are rude, you pay.
