The time is fast approaching when my son, Tomás John, will be leaving for Oklahoma once again, except this time as a civilian, to begin training for his career with the FAA as an air traffic controller. He did his military training as an ATC at Vance AFB in OK. When hes finished, he will become an integral part in the take off and landing of airplanes safely at the Lansing Capital Region International Airport in Lansing, Michigan. Needless to say, Im an emotional wreck faced with fact that hes leaving the nest, probably for good, yet, at the same time, SO proud of his hard work and tenacity in achieving his goal. Congratulations, Tommy! I love you infinite times infinite!!
