The tornado that went through Southeast of Manhattan was just North and East of Werner Farms (Bruns Road is a mile north of the home farm and then if you travel east on Bruns several homes had destruction). It then traveled Northeast and hit the Meier Farm (just south of CD and Me) and the Kestel Farm (Northeast of CD and Me) where it destroyed the new machine shed that the Meiers just built and the silo and a building at the Charlie Kestel farm. We are still without power at 9:30 where we live on Offner Road but the farm finally got their power back. We are all on different lines here in our area for the power so some are getting some on while others are not. However, we have a generator and are have power. Don spoke with the Comm Ed guy and they are checking every pole along the roads and told him it will be 2-3 days before full power will be on in the rural areas around here so be prepared.
