The torturous long debate about whether multi-culturalism is a good thing or not is very easily solved. Let us put a simple rule on the table and start applying this rule to all the different domains in culture: The Golden Rule or ethic of reciprocity is a maxim, ethical code or morality that essentially states either of the following: One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself (directive form). One should not treat others in ways that one would not like to be treated (cautionary form, also known as the Silver Rule). ------- All of the world human cultures who predominantly have adopted values of tolerance, freedom of speech, human rights, acceptance are welcome to mingle with all of the other world human cultures. Those cultures who do not play along the same rules and are to be a threat to the culture of the others, cultures whose main goal is to force themselve upon to others are not welcome. Multi-culturalism does work, but not combined with militant cultures.
