The tower-like plastic cable or electrical box under a cottonwood - TopicsExpress

The tower-like plastic cable or electrical box under a cottonwood tree in our residential Colorado Springs neighborhood never ceases to yield crazy-cool critters. Heres one of them. What I thought would turn out to be some kind of beetle larva is actually a *millipede,* Polyxenus lagurus. I saw at least 2-3. They are only about 2-3 millimeters long. Normally they are found in crevices on tree bark, or in leaf litter.
