The town council planned to spend £6000 on refurbishing the current play equpiment.So i thought wed go down and check out all the work that has been done.now im not sure if this work has been completed.but if it has it is absolutley diabolicle. Only half the climbing frame has been painted. It wasnt sanded down prior to painting. There are no non slip steps to get on the climbing frame. The bark area is still full of weeds. Not a single bin in the play park. Still 2 of the 4 benches are not safe. And there are STILL 2 huge holes in the fence next to the river. This is a absolute joke...£6000!!!!!! But just beyond the zip line is a small meadow the council want to make into a wild flower meadow under the new plans.and guess what it has a lovely new fence with no holes in. I really do wonder if this town council have taken and listend to even the slightest concerns of the public over safety fears. It seems they spend there money on what they want....and not what the towns people want. Roll on election time.
