The trending news on Facebook makes me despair more often than not. For example Stephen Frys relationship. It is awesome that he has found someone he wants to marry and even more so that he can in this country. The age gap doesnt matter, he isnt with some 15 year old kid and there have always been large age gap relationships out there. What has irked me is the media digging up Elliott Spencers driving ban from a YEAR ago. Yes he was caught speeding and no i dont condone that but it was dealt with last summer and is only in the media now because he is engaged. Its like the press sitting there and shaking their heads and going Nope, sorry Stephen, he isnt good enough for you. Leave them both alone to be happy.
