The trials of dealing with customers... Some days freelancing as a copywriter sucks. Today is one of those days. Few jobs posted over the holiday weekend. One of three jobs I finished was returned. The client asked for an article about easy camping habits. They wanted easy camping as a keyword 5 times. So I wrote up an intro and five things that make camping easy... Wrap food in foil and throw in fire to cook, limit each person to one bag, have a checklist and subtract things... etc. The client wrote back a snarky message asking for revision: I want easy habits this sounds like tips. If you dont know the difference return the article to the writing pool. Why do some customers feel like they can be assholes? And why is it always the customers who are idiots that are such assholes? I wish they could admit their own idiocy instead of resorting to being shit heads.
