The trio of Amir khan Rajkumar hirani n vidhu vinod chopra are back n back wid a bang. As I entered d pack house cinema hall on the eve of friday the expectation and aura about the film was evident..To begin wid a different film attempted on such large scale is something that must applauded. The film begins wid pKs arrival on planet earth wid trademark transistor shot.The film then moves on a lighter note wid pk exploring the new world new ppl wid his innocent yet witty mind in d search of his remotwa as he terms it. Many times his simplicity sets d crowd in waves of laughter.But as we approach the interval the pace starts dropping a bit.Jaggu ( anushka) and sarfarazs ( sushant Singh rajput) romantic track in d film looks superficial n is reserved fr d first half.Second half PK along wid jaggu takes on the Godman Tapasvi played by saurabh shukla.The way d film addresses a critical subject in such a simple way is worth mentioning.Never there are any bold statements nor something to hurt anyones sentiments. The issue addressed by pk closely resembles OMG but the treatment is different. The basic issue of religions led by dis false godmen n d blind faith that has deep rooted in d society takes a serious blow wen pk raises few logical n simple questions.The conversation betn saurabh shukla n pk surely are one of the high points of the story. Amir again proves he is the perfectionist n singlehandedly steers d film.The bhojpuri accent of amir Khan though feels odd earlier but adds to d humour.Anushka too is gd. Saurabh shukla adds magic wid his theatrics. Rest an ensemble cast does justice to their parts. Music goes well wid film wid Char Kadam being the pick amongst them. Rajkumar Hirani after 3 idiots is in full form n handles d subject in his well known unique style and the film entertains throughout its runtime barring a few overstretched scenes. Pk a film true at its heart raising few serious questions is a must watch dis weekend. ****
