The true pride By Sh. Kifah The utmost pride in truth is to really know your humility status and need toward your Lord. And the true essence of shameful humiliation is to be blind from the real fact of your dependency on God. Allah SW said: {O humankind! It is you who are the poor, [utterly] in need of God. And it is God [alone] who is the Self-Sufficient, the All-Praised. If ever He so wills, He shall do away with [all of] you and bring about a new creation. Nor is that too mighty for God} 35:15 The servant can never survive but with God and one who depend for survival on God would be granted a status of being pleased. Allah SW said: {yet there are among people those who would give their [very] souls in seeking the good pleasure of God- and God is all-kind to [all His] servants} 2:207 One who fears poverty would lose half of his deen. The prophet SAAW said: and poverty almost caused kufr Hadith by Al-Iraqi and Al-Tabarani O Allah we are (poor) in need for You, so accept us by You being pleased with us and grant us security in this life and the Hereafter
