The truth is ALWAYS INCONVENIENT to those who have committed atrocities, for those who are the oppressors. They hide the truth about the heinous evil theyve perpetrated against Blacks and people of color. They keep it out of history books. Then, when that ugly truth is finally revealed, not because of some moral change within the heart of these oppressors, they get angry, upset, and dismissive; claiming that there is no relevancy to the truth, that shows how they acquired all that they have TODAY. While THOSE who were oppressed still struggle to this day to overcome the systemic and generational racism that has plagued Australia and the U.S.A. The past is the basis for why we are where we are today; why we have democracy in America instead a Royal family. If the past isnt important, why are those who are so dismissive of Blacks talking about slavery, Jim Crow, and systemic racism always talking about the principles upon which this country was founded. When the ugly truth is finally revealed, then, lets not talk about the past, because we are ALL just on RACE and there is no such thing as Black and White, its just the human race. Miss me with the disingenuous and condescending rhetoric, designed only to keep me quiet and compliant. I will not be silent. I will not raise my hands in surrender. Its time for America to pay up what is OWED Blacks. Fulfill your promise owed to my great grandmother Amanda Hamilton and ti all Blacks today. Life, liberty, a d the pursuit of happiness; and Equal rights under the law.
