The tryouts for the 2014, 15U Plainfield Landsharks Travel Baseball Team will be held on Sunday, August 11th at 3pm at Go Pro Baseball Academy, located at 24317 W. 143rd Street, Plainfield, Illinois, (815) 254-8118, just west of Rt.59. The focus of the team is to develop student athletes •Expand baseball skills and knowledge •Prepare ...for High School Baseball programs •Maintain skills in off-season •Showcase for colleges, if the player is looking to continue his baseball career Rational behind 15U •Better competition – as found at the High School level •More tournament options Games at the 15U level with respect High School Programs (both season and summer) so the travel season will not start until the end of May, due to IHSA rules. Tournaments will also be weekend focused to allow student athletes to participate in their respective High School Programs, as well as other sports camps, over the summer. Cost for our travel team is $600.00. 11 of our 13 players made their respective high school teams last year. We will be practicing from fall up to high school tryouts, and playing in Tournaments only. Our goal is to bring High School Concepts to Travel Baseball.
