The unity of the Muslim Ummah. The Unity of Muslims is as paramount as the knowledge of knowing Allah (Tauhid), for without unity the Muslims can never be a Community as described by Allahu Subhanahu wa Taala: Inna hazihi Ummatukum Ummatan wahidatan, wa ana rabbukum fabudun Verily this Community of yours is one Community and I am your Lord worship me The Unity can be achieved through following the precedence stipulated by the Messenger of Allah (PBUH), his Companions and the righteous predecessors. The precedents is the adherence to the key that opens the door to the house of Islam, that is #Shahadatain (La ilaha illallah, Muhammadar Rasulullah). Who ever said this testimony with his tongue, believed it in his mind, heart and translate it to practice through his action have open the door of Islam and entered into the house of Islam and should be considered Muslim. Nothing removes him from the house of Islam until he nourished or committed what nullifies the testimony through words, deeds, actions or beliefs. Allahu Taala strongly warned us that unless we are united as one entity (Ummah), there will be great tribulations and evils on the face of the earth: illa tafaluhu, takun fitnatun fil ardi wa fasadun kabira Contemplate the above verse and see how we are unorganised and disunited t around the world, because we refused to heed the warning of the Creator to avoid disunity. We tend to put more emphasis in what divide us than what unite us, we adhere more to our sectarian creeds rather than adhering to what unite us, we see fellows as Sunni, Sufi, #Shia, rather than seeing them as Muslims. We tend to exaggerates what divide us rather than promoting what unites us, whether you are #Sufi, Shia or Sunni, our God is One, our Qibla (Kaaba) is one, our Book (Quran) is one, our Prophet (Messenger of Allah) is one. Whether Shia, #Sunni or Sufi, we all believed in Oneness of God, His Prophets, His Angels, His Books, the Last Day and the Qadr (destiny) good or bad, we are a single family called Ahlul Islam by the Scholars. We should stop labelling fellow Muslims who believed in Allah, His Prophets and Last Day as unbelievers (kaafir) because they dont ascribed to our sect, creed or ideology. We should all unite as Muslims and strive to enhance our unity through dialogue and beautiful preaching as commanded by Allah: Udu ila sabili rabbika bil hikmati wal mauizatil hasana. The enemies of #Islam are using the sectarian difference to incite mistrust, ignite hatred and war between #Muslims as a divide and rule weapon in order to weaken the Brotherhood of Muslims globally. We must remember that a Muslim whether Sunni, Sufi or Shia is better than a non- believer, so why should we allow ourselves (Muslims) to be used by unbelievers to fight our fellow Muslims ? Our Creator who knows that our strength is in our unity as one Community ( #Ummah) warned us that the non- believers are united in their disbelief: Wallazina kafaru baduhum auliyau baad, and emphasised that unless we are united, we will not be strong. Our unity is our strength, lets heed the Divine call of uniting as one Ummah under the #Unity of one Religion, one way of life and One God
