The vast fields of history are littered with the corpses of little men who embraced big ambition, only to find themselves consumed in their smallness. Never confuse tolerance with respect, nor the momentary trappings of perceived power with privilege. The very same beast which builds one up will burn one down. God, and God alone, reigns supreme. The haughty will taste the bitter flavor of humbleness. Father, diminish my designs and display Your deity in my life. Rein in my ambition and halter my humanness.
