The visit There I was, alone in my room. Playing FIFA to nurse my gloom. When suddenly she appeared. Night, just like I had feared. Time slowed down with every breathe, As I looked upon the angel of death. In confidence she said, yes, a woman, For I always thought it was a rotting man. Am ready, I said, my breathing steady. Whats the rush? Relax already , She smiled as she reached for the other pad. Time went by and soon it was dinner we had. We joked and laughed as if old friends, Catching up on life that will soon end. She was beautiful, funny and smart. But she was here to do her part. Time to go, she said as the laughter died.
