The voters have spoken.. The YMCA Flag Football Game of the Week is the Monstars Vs. the Jokers @ 9:45 A.M. This weeks game of the week features two teams with major expectations. This is a rematch of last years intense and physical championship game. What to expect: You can expect the Monstars to look to remind the Jokers why last season, they were top dogs. You can expect the Jokers to establish that theyre not the same team from last season, and their new additions coupled with old stars is a recipe for success. Key match ups : O.J. Woodard Vs. Jared Bitler: A new Monstars addition, O.J. has added a speedy dimension that the team looks to utilize early and often. Bitler has shown though that he is one of the leagues best corners. The player that wins this matchup could greatly influence the outcome of the game. Brian Rolph Jr. Vs. Anthony Mazzola: Perhaps one of the most anticipated game solely due to the changing of sides of this rivalry, Rolph goes up against a Joker star. Mazzolas ability to thread the needle will be put to the test against the ball-hawking safety. Matt Landolfi Vs. Pete Corrigan: A battle in the trenches will help shape the outcome of this game. Corrigan brings experience at the nose and is often an immovable force. Landolfi brings experience in the league and at the position. This should be a battle to watch. Line: Monstars -3. Prediction: A repeat of last seasons title game comes down the last whistle. Jokers QB Anthony Mazzola leads his team down the field down less than a score. However, an old friend, Brian Rolph Jr. appears and ices the game with a pick. Monstars in a squeaker 15-12.
