Shasta High School, Umpqua Community College, Naval Training Leadership Courses. Prior Governmental Experience: Tri City Water and Sanitary Authority Board; Douglas County Veterans Advisory Committee; Tri City Rural Fire District Volunteer Firefighter and Department Secretary; Myrtle Creek Friends of the Pool Task Force; Myrtle Creek Elks Community Youth Center Board; Past President Tri City Lions Club; American Legion Post 123 Finance Officer; US Naval Submarine Force. I envision a future for Douglas County where our employment base is diverse and rapidly growing. A future where graduating HS students will choose to stay and live here, because our standards of living surpass all others in the state. Mark Garcia.
