The war on terror took on a new twist after a forest in Lamu came - TopicsExpress

The war on terror took on a new twist after a forest in Lamu came under harsh criticism by the Inspector General of the Police David Kimaiyo for providing green haven for terrorists. Boni Forest, revealed Kimaiyo, is now among several ‘objects’ under police radar. Kimaiyo revealed in a tweet yesterday that the forest would be cleared and all trees, old and young, cut done in accordance with law in an operation to be known as (it seems) Operation Kata Miti Pata Terrorists. Diplomatically, Kenya may be sending a strong message to UNEP that their forests are aiding terrorists.Other objects which have come under close scrutiny includes tinted windows, the opposition CORD and Luos.
