The water outage at Breckenridge continues with the following update. The plant problem should be repaired this afternoon possibly even as this is being written. It will take a couple of hours for the plant to recover. Another problem has developed involving a broken water main that has the system shutdown. Repairs are being performed and should allow the system to come back up by this evening. A DNR mandated boil order is in effect for all Breckenridge water users. If you have no water and am in need of drinking water, please contact myself George Pease EMD at 816-916-7860 or the Breckenridge fire chief Jesse P. and we will make arrangements to get drinking water to a local source for distribution. Remember, a boil order for your water will continue until further notice.
