The way of the future, in terms of energy is an interesting subject to debate. After watching a documentary about it, I have this to share with the attached video Future Earth 2050 to view if you will. Enjoy and let me know how you see the future. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have been off grid for 14 years. On average I use 450 W per hour with 8+ hours of 0 usage. When purchasing appliances, look to see what amperage they use. For example a 15 Amp fridge uses 1,800 Watt of electricity where a 2.5 am fridge will only use 300 watts. I built my house using ICF building blocks that give me about 70R value. Using radiant tube floor heating I can deliver more energy in a .5 tube of water than in a 3 diameter tube of air. I can use anything that creates heat to heat the water in my boiler, this includes solar and geothermal. By using specific sized tubes, one can circulate the water without using a pump. Because of my high insulation value, R70, it takes less energy to heat and cool my home. In fact is free. In terms of travel, that is personal travel, one should walk or ride a bike when ever possible. Next. By reducing the distance traveled to work and back in half, we can realize a 50% savings, just by that action alone. The real Tesla car built by Nikola Tesla in Buffalo NY, drove at 70 MPH using an electric motor and an antenna. It had NO battery or any other fuel cell. We can thank, JP Morgan for destroying Teslas wireless electricity. Thomas Edison also attributed to grossly impeding the work of Nikola Tesla when Edison engaged in attacking Teslas AC as dangerous to ensure his DC, which far less efficient to transport electricity over large distances. In Hungary, engineers have reconstructed Tesla based generators the once put into motion, uses the natural magnetic field of the earth to run perpetually. Lastly, the US Government, destroyed Teslas wireless facility, which was able to provide electricity to any part in the world, without wires. This makes sense, while having the landscape riddled with wires is as bizarre as a flashlight you would carry with a cord plugged into your receptacle at home. It is my view, to solve our future energy needs, will require a collaborative multifaceted approach to achieve our future goals. Our biggest obstacle are the money exchangers who would rather us be enslaved to them, burning fossil fuels, than to be free and off grid as I am. https://youtube/watch?v=r4fT-kj4OR4
