The wealthy like Donald Trump get out with a lot of money when some of their projects fold which is why he can brag about getting out when he did, but for most of the employees the job was their only source of income. The wealthy even have insurance and limited liability on aspects of their business so they are compensated regardless. The average worker may have uprooted their entire lives to move somewhere for a job. Now with what is happening in Atlantic City and other areas that fall economically their home values are down, they are jobless, and they must start over again. The wealthy get to parachute out. The peons were just expendable.
