The weather forecast looks encouraging for this coming weekend. Some forecast show a beautiful weekend, some show a slight chance of rain. We will be open to the public Saturday and Sunday assuming we dont get a big rain like we did last Saturday morning. The grounds are now in excellent condition, the corn maze is in really good shape, lots and lots of really nice pumpkins still in the field, the flower patch is beautiful, the train is running, the new carousel is a big hit, the pig race arena makes the pig races more fun, we just received 4 bins of apples (rejects) to shoot in the bottle blaster cannon, a new litter of pigs was just born this afternoon in the barn, Sliiide Mountain is going downhill, all the food locations will be open, and it should be just good old plain fun this weekend. The crowds historically fall off some the weekend before Halloween. I think we will have a pretty big crowd but I dont expect the huge crowd like last Sunday. The rainy weather has really hurt attendance this year but we have been very lucky the last 4 or 5 years and we knew we were due a wet one. If you want come to the Farm when the crowds are always smaller, come in November. The weather is cooler and everything is still available at the Farm.
