The weather in Darwin drove me to boredom but lucky I managed to divert into writing......I love to write and love working with people......After graduation in college I was lucky to get a job right away.As a secondary school teacher for 15 years in the Philippines I am proud of it.....We migrated to Australia almost 20 years now (this April).I was then a plain housewife for nearly 4 years until my youngest son started pre- school when I entered the workforce.January-June 1999 I worked with Northern Territory School of Languages as a Language instructor.July of the same year I worked as casual for 6 months with Somerville Community Services and got the permanent position as Disability Support Worker in February 2000.Its a very challenging job but rewarding.I encountered so many ups and downs.I have also faced few challenges but in the end I overcome them all.I considered them as trials that pushed me to become more responsible and dedicated support worker.Comes 16 February God willing will be my 15 years of long service.Looking forward to start part-time position in April God willing .Three days a week work is just enough for me who is not getting younger.Thank you Father God for this wonderful years in the workforce, please continue to guide me all the way through until I reach my retireable age.
