The weather overnight was damp, probably the best way of putting it and Im looking forward to my new boots catching up with me in Largs, its my bad leg that is leaking! I was soon at the ferry terminal, mainly due to the fact that I was staying the other side of the fence! The ferry arrives! Today was an easy but frustrating day, the repairs on the trailer broke again (and were repaired again), I hit some bad bits of road today, the last straw was fifty yards from the Lifeboat station, Dave Nelson (ex-Navy, mechanic and other bits and bobs) came down to do the repairs, thank you Dave. I pottered out to have a look at the local wildlife - always in the hope of seeing an otter - and went to the the northern most point of Lamlash, with the weather that was around it was no surprise I got wet, I did however manage to get a pic of Holy Island. Holy Island, Arran Well a damp day ended with the three of usin the Lamlash Bay Hotel, it was meant to be in the Drift Inn and meet with the lifeboat crew, it is closed for a fortnight, hopefully we can catch up here. The cats are on the sofas, litterally one each, whether you can make them out in the photo...
